Shri Dilip Kumar Goswami
Shri Dilip Kumar Goswami, Executive Director, Production at Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna PSU, has been a part of the organization since April 1991. Starting his journey as an Executive-Trainee in the Production (Oil) Department, Mr. Goswami has garnered over 35 years of rich experience in oil and gas production, well operations, surface installations, emergency management, and strategic project execution.
Throughout his tenure, Mr. Goswami has been instrumental in handling critical installations, reviving shut-in wells, and leading pioneering initiatives in crude oil quality enhancement and well stimulation services. His leadership saw the commissioning of key infrastructure projects like the Secondary Tank Farm, Central Bowser Unloading Station (CBUS), the Crude Evacuation System at Baghjan-EPS, etc. His forward-thinking approach contributed to the discontinuation of clumsy bowser movements and facilitated the monetization of flared gas.
Recognized for his ability to manage crises, Mr. Goswami led the successful control of the BGN#5 blowouts even during the COVID-19 lockdown and NHK#67 blowouts. His strategic procurement decisions and operational acumen earned him the prestigious Manager-of-the-Year Award of the organization in 2020. He has further been honored with the Platinum Award under Apex India Green Leaf (2021) and the Gold Award under Grow Care India OHSA (2022).
As Head of Production, Mr. Goswami has overseen diverse operations including Hydraulic Fracturing, Sand Consolidation, High-Pressure Oil Management, Snubbing Services, and development of indigenous vendors for critical downhole tools, aligning with Atmanirbhar Bharat objectives. In addition, Mr. Goswami is also acting as Director of IGGL (Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited), a JV of IOCL, ONGCL, GAIL, OIL & NRL and Director of AGL (Arunachal Gas Limited), a JV of OIL & BPCL.
A leader who exemplifies technical excellence, commitment, and visionary thinking, Mr. Dilip Kumar Goswami continues to play a vital role in strengthening India’s upstream oil and gas operations.
