Assam Valley Fertilizer and Chemical Company Limited (AVFCCL) is a newly formed joint venture company, incorporated on 25 July 2025, with a vision to strengthen India’s agricultural sector through modern, sustainable fertilizer production. Our ownership reflects a strong partnership among leading institutions: Government of Assam (40%), Oil India Limited (18%), National Fertilizers Limited (18%), Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (13%), and Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (11%). The Bhoomi Pujan of our upcoming plant was graciously performed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on 21 December 2025, marking the beginning of a landmark project with an estimated investment of ₹10,600 crore. The plant will be set up within the existing premises of Brahmaputra Valley Fertiliser Corporation Limited (BVFCL), symbolizing continuity with innovation. AVFCCL is committed to delivering high-quality fertilizers and chemical solutions that empower farmers, enhance food security, and contribute to regional and national prosperity, while embracing modernization, transparency, and service excellence.
